Open Door Policy
It is the belief of the personnel and Board of Directors of the Nestucca Rural Fire Protection District that open communication amongst its personnel, the patrons of the District, and the Board is critical to the operation and continued improvement of the District.
Towards that end, let it be known that all Fire District personnel and community members are encouraged to communicate with District staff, officers, volunteers, and Board members regarding the operation of the District. Comments, suggestions, and concerns are always welcome. It is the policy of the Nestucca Rural Fire Protection District to give due consideration to all comments and concerns.
It is important to realize that each member of the District, volunteers, officers, staff and Board members have different responsibilities and authority with respect to District operations and policy. Comments and concerns should be passed up or down the Chain of Command to the appropriate body.
