Responsibility

It shall be the responsibility of all Fire District personnel participating in the operation of District vehicles, requiring a drivers license, to maintain a current and valid license as well as to inform the District of any changes affecting the status of their license.

Procedure

It shall be the responsibility of the Fire District to issue a letter notifying District members of any such action.

Any member being convicted of a major traffic violation, or repeated District suspensions, may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

All Fire District personnel shall have the right to present information that would have bearing on any action taken by the District.

The Fire District shall notify members by certified letter if their driving privileges are in question.

It shall be the responsibility of the member to notify the fire district of any issues that may have an impact on their driver’s license status.
