This month's Safety Meeting was on May 5th.

In attendance:
Chiefs Weiland, Hays, Oeder, Capt Langley, Strassle, A/C Cole, Lt.s Cunningham, Sturdevant,  
FF’s Marquis, T Slavens, R Remmington, B Slavens

  1. Approval of April minutes- Moved Strassle, 2nd  T. Slavens Passed
  2. Discussion on FF Safety Issue:
    1. Backing accident with 8412 with BMW. Driver Smutney was backing rig, cut corner too tight and hit the truck lid. Conclusion was that driver was as fault and a letter will be placed in his file. Officers were reminded to review drive rules with members.
    2. Discussion on additional radio’s. Budget item, will have two more from Maahs and Upton.
