May 2010 Officer Meeting Minutes

This month's Officer Meeting was on May 5th. Kelli Beghler was chosen as firefighter of the month.

  1. Officers attending:
    Chiefs Weiland, Hays, Oeder, Capt Langley, Sturdevant A/C Cole; Lt.s Cunningham, Sturdevent;   FF’s Marquis, T Slavens, R Remmington, B Slavens
  2. Minutes approved moved Strassle/Slavens
  3. Station Reports:
    1. 81- 8111 is back, will be returning to OA when 8211 returns
    2. 82- 8211 at OA after electrical fire
    3. 83- New mower is in service and works well
    4. 84- Lack of people, Brush rig at community burn pile on Memorial Day Weekend
    5. 85- Auto Eject on 8511 needs to be checked, moved office to front of station, still having problems with fax machine
    6. 86 GPS unit missing off 8645/8611, water tank valve froze and needs to be replaced.
  4. Rescue Group - Applications are being worked on, obtaining prices on gear, training classes being setup with North Lincoln
  5. Training- Captains and Lieutenants’ test will be in June, Drill attendance information presented to officers. Review with crews and letters will be forth coming. Safety Meeting is moving to 2nd Monday @1830. This is to allow time for officer development training on meeting nights. Roof prop is almost done; there will be some changes to the Tng Schedule this month. CPR on 5/17. House burn in June.
  6. OP’s/Maintenace- Attended Chief’s Conference, 8111 as m3ntioned will be going back to finish annual, 8211 short is still undetermined. 8212 has battery switch and starter wired in now.
