February 26, 2010 - Busy Weekend
The District had a busy weekend beginning the 19th. There were two structure fires over the weekend and a brush fire Monday night.
February 19, 2010 - Otus Standby Volunteers Needed
Reminder: Standby volunteers are needed for North Lincoln at Otus from 1700-2200 on February 27. Station 86 has volunteered. Anyone else wanting to contact D/C Oeder when he returns.
February 18, 2010 - Rescue Director Position
Patrick Maahs has announced that he will be stepping down from his position as Rescue Director and Officer. Patrick is moving to Tillamook to take on a new job. It is unfortunate for the District to lose an individual like Patrick. We're sure he will do well and wish him all the best.
The District is looking to fill the position in the very near future so that progress on the program can continue.

January 5, 2010 - National Fire Academy Leadership Class
This first of three NFA Leadership classes (#3 in the NFA series) is scheduled for this weekend - January 9th and 10th. For those signed up to attend, classes start at 8am at Station 82.
January 5, 2010 - 2010 Annual Awards Banquet
This year's Annual Awards Banquet for district members is scheduled for March 13th. Watch this space for more information.
October 19, 2009 - Annual Holiday Dinner
The Annual Holiday Dinner for all staff and District members is scheduled for Thursday, December 3rd, at the Kiawanda Community Center. The Party starts at 6:30pm with dinner served at 7:00pm. D/C Oeder is our head Chef this year - we are trying something new and exciting! Lt. Sturdevant has graciously offered to help Santa with the children’s gifts.
October 13, 2009 - Burn Ban Lifted
Effective 10/13/2009 9:00am the burn ban for the Nestucca Rural Fire Protection District has been lifted.
